How does Family Sharing work with Foodnoms+?

The Foodnoms+ Family plan supports Apple Family Sharing, allowing up to six family members to share a single subscription.

How to Activate

After purchasing a Family plan, other family members can activate Foodnoms+ by going to Foodnoms settings, then Foodnoms+Restore Purchase. Make sure "Share with Family" is enabled in the Settings app under [Your Name] → Subscriptions.

Switching from an Individual Plan

Apple doesn't convert an existing Individual subscription into a Family plan. To move to a Family plan, purchase it separately, then request a refund from Apple for the unused portion of your Individual plan (see "Can I get a refund?").

Troubleshooting

If a family member's subscription isn't being recognized, try these steps:

  1. Wait up to an hour after enabling Family Sharing for it to sync.

  2. Double-check that all family members are added to your Family Sharing group in the Settings app. This is the most common issue.

  3. Verify "Share with Family" is enabled for the Foodnoms subscription in the Settings app under [Your Name] → Subscriptions.

  4. Have each family member tap Restore Purchase in Foodnoms settings under Foodnoms+.

  5. Check for hidden purchases. If you previously hid the Foodnoms purchase, family members won't be able to access it.

  6. If you have multiple Apple Accounts, make sure you're signed into the one used to purchase the subscription.

If it's been 24 hours and none of these worked, contact Apple for further help. Family Sharing is managed by Apple and issues with it cannot be resolved by Foodnoms support.
