How does Family Sharing work with Foodnoms+?

The Foodnoms+ Family plan supports Apple Family Sharing, allowing family members to share a single subscription. You can upgrade from an individual plan anytime—Apple will refund the unused portion within 48 hours.

How to Activate

After purchasing a Family plan, other family members can activate Foodnoms+ by going to Foodnoms settings, then Foodnoms+Restore Purchases. Make sure "Share with Family" is enabled in iOS Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions.

Troubleshooting

If a family member's subscription isn't being recognized, try these steps:

  1. Wait up to an hour after enabling Family Sharing for it to sync.

  2. Double-check that all family members are added to your Family Sharing group in iOS Settings. This is the most common issue.

  3. Verify "Share with Family" is enabled for the Foodnoms subscription in iOS Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions.

  4. Have each family member tap Restore Purchases in Foodnoms settings under Foodnoms+.

  5. Check for hidden purchases. If you previously hid the Foodnoms purchase, family members won't be able to access it.

  6. If you have multiple Apple IDs, make sure you're signed into the one used to purchase the subscription.

If it's been 24 hours and none of these worked, contact Apple for further help. Family Sharing is managed by Apple and issues with it cannot be resolved by Foodnoms support.
