How do I set up widgets?
Foodnoms comes with several widgets that make it easy to check your goals and log food quickly.
Adding Widgets on iPhone and iPad
After installing the app and setting up your goals, touch and hold the Home Screen background until the apps begin to jiggle.
Tap the "+" button at the top.
Search for "Foodnoms". If nothing comes up, see "Why don't I see any Foodnoms widgets?".
Scroll to browse the available widgets, choose a size, and tap "Add Widget".
You can also add Foodnoms widgets to your Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap "Customize", and select the widget area.
Adding Widgets on Mac
Control-click the desktop and choose "Edit Widgets".
Search for "Foodnoms" in the widget gallery.
Drag a widget to the desktop or Notification Center, or click "+" to add it.
Customizing Widgets
Many widgets are configurable. Touch and hold a widget (on a Mac, Control-click it), then select "Edit Widget" to see its settings. For example:
The Goal widget has a "Goal" setting that controls which goal it displays, plus "Open Action" and "Theme" settings.
The Log Food widget has a "Collection" setting: show Smart Suggestions or a fixed list of foods you choose.
Widget Refresh
Widgets refresh periodically rather than in real time, to save battery. If a widget isn't updating, try removing and re-adding it.
Apple Watch
Foodnoms also supports Apple Watch widgets in the Smart Stack, as well as complications on your watch face. You can add them through the Watch app or by editing directly on your Apple Watch.
