How do I scan barcodes?
Foodnoms makes it easy to log food by scanning barcodes.
Scanning a Barcode
Tap the orange + button at the bottom of the screen
Tap the barcode icon (bottom right of the popup) to open the scanner
Point your camera at the barcode—it will scan automatically
If the barcode scan result has incorrect data, tap Make a correction to fix it for yourself and other Foodnoms users.
Scanning a Nutrition Label
To scan a nutrition label, create a new food in your Library and choose Scan Nutrition Label.
You can also scan a barcode first—if there's no result or an issue, you'll be prompted to scan the nutrition label.
Meal Scan
To photograph a meal for AI analysis, tap the camera icon to switch to Meal Scan mode.

Hold your device steady while scanning
Make sure the entire barcode is visible in the frame
