What happens if I change my Apple ID?

Changing your Apple ID affects different parts of Foodnoms in different ways.

Foodnoms Account

If you used Sign in with Apple to create your Foodnoms account, you won't be able to sign in with a new Apple ID.

Before switching Apple IDs:

1. Go to Settings → Account

2. Add an email address and password to your account

3. After switching, use email login instead of Sign in with Apple

Foodnoms+

Subscriptions are permanently tied to the Apple ID used at purchase. Apple doesn't provide a way to transfer purchases between Apple IDs.

To access an old subscription, temporarily sign in with your old Apple ID.

Syncing

How syncing is affected depends on which method you use:

• iCloud sync: Your data is tied to your Apple ID. Switching means starting fresh unless you export your data first and import it after switching.

• Foodnoms Cloud sync: Your data stays with your Foodnoms account, so it's unaffected by Apple ID changes (as long as you can still sign in—see above).
