How can I update my shortcuts that use legacy actions?
Recently, Foodnoms introduced a major update, completely revamping its Shortcuts integration. Learn more about this update in the announcement blog post.
If you've previously used Shortcuts with Foodnoms, you'll need to update them to use the new actions.
The old actions have been deprecated and will only be available for a limited time. Because they are deprecated, they no longer appear in Shortcuts search results, and you cannot add them to new shortcuts.
While these legacy actions are still temporarily functional, they will be removed soon. To avoid any disruptions, update your shortcuts to the latest versions as soon as possible.
Migration Guide
Deprecated Action | Recommendation |
|---|---|
Log Food | Replace with a Log action. |
Log Recipe | Replace with a Log action and set Type to Recipe. |
Log Meal | Replace with a Log action and set Type to Meal. |
Log Drink | Replace with a Log action and set Type to Drink. |
Foodnoms AI | Replace with a Ask Foodnoms AI action. Note, unlike the old action which required that you pass the output to a Log Food action, the new action logs immediately by default. This behavior is controlled by the Log Immediately parameter. |
Quick Entry | Replace with a Log Quick Entry action. Note, unlike the old action which required that you pass the output to a Log Food action, the new action logs immediately. |
Set Nutrient Amount | Remove and set amounts inside the Log Quick Entry action. |
