A calorie tracker with a family plan

Foodnoms+ Family is $69.99 a year for up to six people, about $12 per person. It runs on Apple Family Sharing, so everyone in your family group gets Foodnoms+ on their own iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac, with their own private food log. Nobody sees anyone else’s diary or weight.

What every family member gets

Foodnoms is free for everyone, with barcode scanning, nutrition label scanning, weight tracking, and custom macro goals included. Foodnoms+ adds:

  • Calibrated Energy: a calorie goal that adjusts to each person’s own logs and weigh-ins

  • Foodnoms AI: photograph a meal or paste a recipe URL and it fills in the nutrition

  • More nutrients: fiber, sodium, saturated fat, caffeine, water, and more

  • Monthly and yearly charts and top-foods insights

  • Favorites for one-tap logging

  • Apple Health import from other apps

Each person sets their own goals. A parent cutting calories and a teenager bulking for a sport get separate targets, separate logs, and separate charts.

Frequently asked questions

Can family members see each other’s food logs?

No. Family Sharing shares the subscription, not the data. Each person’s log, weight, and goals stay on their own device and their own iCloud or Foodnoms Cloud account.

Is there a monthly family plan?

Yes. Foodnoms+ Family is $9.99 a month, or $69.99 a year.

I already have an individual Foodnoms+ subscription. Can I switch?

Yes, but Apple does not convert subscriptions. Buy the Family plan, then request a refund from Apple for the unused part of your individual plan. The help page walks through it.

Does everyone need their own Apple Account?

Yes. Each person needs to be a member of your Family Sharing group with their own Apple Account. Apple allows up to six people including the organizer.

Does the family plan work on Android?

No. Foodnoms is built for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac only.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Foodnoms+ Family comes with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then.
